仙台ITエンジニアがバリでノマドワーク！美しいバリの景色と現地のカフェ事情をご紹介します

今年の3月から、初めての海外旅行でバリに3週間滞在しました。バリ滞在中、様々なカフェやビーチなど、美しい環境に出会うことができました。カフェでは、意外とコンセントが設置されているところが多く、美しい景色を眺めながら仕事ができます。
I stayed in Bali for three weeks on my first overseas trip in March this year. During my stay in Bali, I visited various cafes, beaches, and beautiful environments. In cafes, there are some places with outlets, and you can work and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

この記事では、私がバリ滞在中に行った様々な場所を紹介しながら、バリで働くことのすばらしさをご紹介したいと思います。*バリ海外出張ブログは、全3記事のシリーズとして連載します。

ノマドワークとは？ – What are Digital Nomads?

ご存知の方も多いかと思いますが、ノマドワークとは、特定の場所に縛られずに働くスタイルのことを指します。
今回私は、バリで複数のカフェを散策しながら、ノマドワークを体験しました。美しいビーチやカフェを背景に、自由な場所で仕事をしました。
その時に訪れたカフェやレストランの一部をご紹介させてください。
Many of you may already know, but nomad work refers to a style of working that is not bound to a specific place.
This time, I experienced nomad work while exploring multiple cafes in Bali. I worked in free places with beautiful beaches and cafes as a backdrop.
Let me introduce some of the cafes and restaurants I visited at that time.

おすすめバリ島カフェ・ワークスペース3選！ – Recommended 3 Cafes/Workspaces in Bali!

私が訪れたバリ島のカフェは、どこも美味しいコーヒーがあり、きれいでモダンな店内でした。
そのなかでも、特にお気に入りの3店をご紹介します！
The cafes I visited in Bali all had delicious coffee and were clean and modern inside.
Among them, I would like to introduce my three favorite places!

まず最初に訪れたのは、BGS Canggu – Coffee Bar & Surf Shopです。
ここは、バリ島のチャングーエリアにある人気のカフェで、コーヒーとサーフィンの文化を融合させたユニークなスポットとして知られています。お店の雰囲気もスタッフさんもとてもクールで、仙台にはなかなかない、ユニークなコーヒーショップでした。
海も近いので、美味しいラテを楽しみながら、サーファーと交流したい人に特におすすめです。
ここで飲んだアーモンドラテは、クリーミーなミルクとフルーティなエスプレッソが最高においしかったです。
ただ、店内の席数は非常に限られていたため、長時間の作業には適していないかもしれません。
私は休日にここに訪れたので、少しだけゆっくりしたあと、ビーチに向かいました。
The first place I visited was BGS Canggu – Coffee Bar & Surf Shop.
This is a popular cafe in the Canggu area of Bali, known as a unique spot that combines coffee and surfing culture. Both the atmosphere of the coffee shop and the staff were very cool, and it was a unique coffee shop that is not often found in Sendai.
It’s also close to the sea, so it’s especially recommended for those who want to interact with surfers while enjoying a delicious latte.
I drank the almond latte here and it was delicious. That is with creamy milk and fruity espresso.
However, the number of seats here was very limited, so it may not be suitable for long hours of work.
I visited here on a holiday, so after a little relaxation, I headed to the beach.

次に訪れたのは、Sari Kitchen & Community – by Ekosistemです。
ここはデジタルノマドやクリエイティブな人々が集まるコミュニティスペースで、落ち着いた雰囲気が魅力です。ヘルシーで美味しい食事も評判なお店です。
ここにはコンセントが備えてあります。私はここに数時間滞在し、集中して作業をすることができました。ビーチも近いので、作業に疲れたら夕日を眺めながらビーチを散歩する時間も格別でした。
The next place I visited was Sari Kitchen & Community – by Ekosistem. This is a community space where digital nomads and creative people gather, and its calm atmosphere is attractive.
The shop is also known for its healthy and delicious meals.
There are outlets here. I stayed here for a few hours and was able to work intensively. The beach is also close, so the time to walk on the beach while watching the sunset when tired from work was also special.

最後はExpat. Roastersです。ここは、私が今回訪れたなkで最も好きなコーヒーショップで、地元のコーヒー豆を使用したハンドドリップコーヒーがおすすめです。
バリのキンタマーニという山で栽培したコーヒー豆を取り扱っており、ここでお土産にコーヒー豆を買いました。仙台に戻ってから淹れたExpat.のコーヒーも、また格別でした。
店内はモダンでスタイリッシュな内装で、コンセントもあります。席数は多くはないので、長時間の滞在は難しいかもしれませんが、スタッフさんも笑顔で優しく、おすすめのカフェの1つです。
This is my favorite coffee shop in Bali, and I recommend the pour-over coffee made with local coffee beans here.
They handle coffee beans grown in a mountain called Kintamani in Bali, and I bought coffee beans as a souvenir here. The Expat coffee I brewed after returning to Sendai was also exceptional.
The interior is modern and stylish, and there are outlets. There are not many seats, so it may be difficult to stay for a long time, but the staff is also smiling and kind, making it one of our recommended cafes.

美しいビーチの数々 – Beautiful Beaches

バリと言えば、やはり美しいビーチが多いことです。サーファーはもちろん、サーファーでなくても夕日を眺めながらの散歩の時間は格別です！
私は今回、カフェで作業後、気分転換にサンセットビーチを散歩しました。美しいビーチは、ただの散歩を格別の時間に変えてくれます。
When it comes to Bali, there are indeed many beautiful beaches. The time for a walk while watching the sunset is special, not only for surfers but also for non-surfers!
This time, after working at the cafes, I took a walk on Sunset Beach for a change of pace. A beautiful beach turns a mere walk into a special time.

美しい景色・環境で働く素晴らしさ – The Wonderful Experience of Working in Beautiful Scenery and Environment

きれいなカフェや美しいビーチの近くで働くことは、とても魅力的でした。
日本の整備されたオフィスに比べたら不便なところもいろいろあります。それでも、日本の便利さを凌駕するほどに、このバリのリラックスできる空間はとても魅力的です。
Working near beautiful cafes and beaches was very attractive.
Compared to the well-maintained offices in Japan, there are various inconveniences. Still, the relaxing space in Bali is so attractive that it surpasses the convenience of Japan.
