Web Developer

Some years ago, I began my journey as a junior programmer — curious, eager, and determined to grow. I invested time in studying, learning, and sharpening my skills, and over time, that dedication opened doors to higher responsibilities and new roles. Every mistake I made became a lesson, and every challenge turned into experience that shaped my career.
Throughout the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in different kinds of companies: in-house hospitality, software-as-a-service, and product-based businesses. Each environment introduced me to new people, new technologies, and new ways of thinking. These experiences pushed me to evolve, both professionally and personally.
One thing I’ve learned is that while we can design our own path and work hard to move forward, there will always be external forces beyond our control — unexpected changes, setbacks, circumstances that test us. But that’s part of the journey. All we can do is stay focused on what we’re doing, keep learning, stay humble, and remain grounded.

Why did you choose Grune?

Honestly, a few months ago when the tech winter hit and opportunities became scarce, GRUNE was the company that truly saved me. I was given a chance to join even though my tech stack was different from what the team was using at the time. What mattered was my willingness to learn and adapt. Now, I’m proud to say that I’m part of the GRUNE team—growing, learning, and contributing in meaningful ways. It’s a reminder that sometimes the right opportunity comes when you least expect it, and that being open, resilient, and committed can lead you to places you never imagined.

How is the Grune working atmosphere?

At GRUNE, the working atmosphere feels truly well-structured and thoughtfully organized. There’s a sense of clarity in the workflow and teamwork that makes it easy to stay productive and focused. One thing I appreciate most is how often conversations revolve around AI—ideas, experiments, possibilities—and it creates an environment that’s both inspiring and forward-thinking. And of course, the simple moments matter too. Sometimes, a good coffee or a shared lunch becomes the perfect booster to recharge, connect, and keep the momentum going. It’s those little things that make the workplace feel even more enjoyable.

What do you think about the Japanese Members?

When it comes to the Japanese members of the team, I truly appreciate how supportive they are. They consistently provide guidance, especially when it comes to requirements that are written fully in Japanese. Their patience, clarity, and willingness to help make a huge difference, especially for someone like me who is still adapting to the language and workflow. They don’t just explain tasks—they make sure we understand the context, the goals, and the reasoning behind them. That level of support makes collaboration smoother and shows how dedicated they are to helping the whole team succeed.

How is the General Manager?

Regarding our General Manager, Ida-san, I’m genuinely grateful for his support. He has assisted me a lot since I joined the company and has given me real opportunities to contribute to the team. I can see that he truly wants the whole team to stay focused, grow together, and deliver our best work. Beyond daily tasks, he also takes care of employee needs—such as BPJS Kesehatan and Ketenagakerjaan—ensuring that everyone is supported not just professionally but also in terms of wellbeing. His leadership feels balanced, thoughtful, and encouraging, and it motivates me to keep improving.

In your opinion what is the excellence of Grune?

GRUNE is now moving forward as an AI-focused company, and that opens up a wide range of opportunities for all of us. It means there will be many chances to work with AI, experiment with new ideas, and use AI as a powerful tool to improve our workflow, productivity, and innovation. Being part of a company that embraces AI isn’t just exciting—it also encourages continuous learning and pushes us to think differently. It’s a space where we can explore, collaborate, and create solutions that weren’t possible before.

Why did you choose the IT field for your career?

To be honest, it wasn’t something I originally planned. My dream back then was actually to be part of the medical field—maybe even become a doctor. But as life unfolded, my path gradually shifted. One opportunity led to another, and I found myself stepping into the world of IT. What started as a simple turn in the road eventually became a career I learned to appreciate deeply. I discovered that technology, like medicine, also plays a huge role in helping people—just in a different way. And as I continued learning, improving, and growing, I realized that this field fits me more than I expected. So, in a way, I didn’t choose IT. The journey brought me here… and I’m grateful it did.

What kind of company would you like Grune to be in the future?

I truly hope GRUNE continues to grow into a successful company—one that can stand strong for many years to come. I want to see it become one of the leading technology companies in Japan, known not only for innovation but also for how it treats its people. I hope the company keeps evolving, improving, and giving valuable feedback to its employees so everyone can grow together. Being part of this journey from the early stages feels meaningful, and I’m proud to contribute to a company with such potential.

What is your current responsibility in Grune?

Currently since I'm new, I am part of the team that is responsible for creating backend and front end.

What is your dream job?

To produce tools that people can use for their life.
